BISS - JOKER IN THE DECK
The BISS success story seemed to end right before it started!
The fans and the metal press loved the debut album,
the sales figures were tremendous.
The tour, supporting german hardrockheroes BONFIRE, was
booked and everybody in the BISS camp was hot to enter
the stage as soon as possible!
Everybody………?????
The bad news hit the BISS guys right in the face!
FERNANDO GARCIA left the band!
The "reasons" for the split are history now.
Producer MICHAEL VOSS and BISS guitarhero DOC HEYNE
are not the kind of guys that can be discouraged by an
egocentric so called lead singer.
So there was one thing for sure: BISS won't die!
On JOKER IN THE DECK you'll find all the trademarks that made
the debut album so successful, but the BIG THING this time
is the new line - up!
BISS, originally being more or less a duo, is now a band.
With BAREND COURBOIS (ex - VENGEANCE) on bass
and JOS ZOOMER (ex - VANDENBERG) on drums
two legends are building the rhythm section.
But the sensation is yet to come……the new lead singer is
not just one more metal shouter, it's one of the best…..
"MR. JADED HEART" MICHAEL BORMANN!
With "DOGFIGHTER" (co - written with PAUL SABU, who also did
the backing vocals) the album is starting with an helluva track,
showing all the incredible potential of the "new" BISS!

of BISS!
